- We believe that Snow Peak makes the very best stoves and lanterns available anywhere. Their new white gas stove is the only one that combines quiet operation, no preheating, a built in windscreen, and a fully adjustable flame into an extremely light stove. Their titanium canister stove is the lightest canister stove on the market. Their gas lantern is a tiny, featherweight powerhouse of light. Snow Peak stoves and lanterns do cost a little more, but they do more. All in all, it's worth the price for that kind of quality.
